Greetings!
Our Spring fund-raising drive ends at 6pm tomorrow. There is still time for you to make a pledge by calling on 818 985 5735 anytime before then, or by visiting our website at www.kpfk.org. In fact, you can pledge on the website any time at all. Anything you can do to help will be gratefully accepted. Your contribution keeps KPFK on the air. Thank you all so much for your continuing support. We couldn't do this without you.

KPFK On the Air:
The Labor Review (Sundays @ 8:30am)
KPFK's longstanding show about labor and union issues is normally heard on Sunday mornings, but this Saturday, June 9th, activists and thinkers involved in the labor and justice movements will gather at The Last Bookstore in downtown for a live teach-in. The corner bookshop in a reclaimed downtown space at 453 S. Spring St. will become labor-organizing central as leaders and experts from student groups, unions and faith-based organizations gather for a panel discussion on economy, work and poverty. The teach-in starts at 3pm and will be moderated by Henry Walton.
