Activities for 1-9 Year Olds:

DROP-IN TODDLER TIME: Ages 1-4 with Parent/Guardian.
$2 per child.
Each week children and parent can explore arts & crafts, stories, music, games and more! Toddler time allows you and your toddler to explore new activities while connecting with other toddlers and parents. Free play and "unstructured" fun is the goal, parents watch over and participate with their child. Siblings are welcomed, but each participant may need parental assistance. Pre-registration is not required. Harmon Park Activity Center Basement.

MOVE IT! & PARENT/CHILD MOVE IT!: $18
Movement is the class theme, but the smiles and fun are our goals! Parent/Child Move It! Class is for children age 2-3 and their parent. Move It! Class if for ages 4-2 nd Grade. Class will get everyone actively engaged through tumbling, dancing, jumping, basic fitness routines, and game playing. Come dressed in comfortable clothing because we like to Move It! Harmon Park Activity Center Multipurpose Room. Min.: 8, Max.: 18.

ZUMBA Kids ®: Ages 5-9. $16
Zumba Kids® is a specially designed class for children. It incorporates the Zumba® Fitness concept with kid friendly songs, routines and games to promote coordination, balance, discipline, creativity, pride, confidence and a healthy lifestyle. The class is taught by Zumba Kids® licensed instructor, Eileen Jahn. Harmon Park Activity Center Multipurpose Room. Min.: 8, Max.: 30.

KRAZY KIDZ CLIMBING CAMP: Ages 9-13, $15, 1:00-2:30pm.
Rock climbing is not only thrilling, but it builds strength, endurance, and confidence! Participants will learn climbing safety and basic climbing techniques through fun and challenging instruction and games. The first Saturday, January 14, will be led by experienced KPR Climbing Instructors at the Harmon Park Activity Center utilizing the traverse wall. The second Saturday, January 21, will be led by certified UNK Instructors at the University of Nebraska Kearney Wellness Center utilizing the new Climbing Rock Wall.


INDOOR ARCHERY SNOWBALL SHOOT CAMP: Ages 9-13. $15
"Archers approach the line". It is time to shoot. This class is led by certified instructors and other KPR staff. Basic instruction & safety will be covered before participants get to shoot at various types of targets. There will be other non-archery shooting activities. Genesis bows and arrows are provided. Harmon Park Activity Center Multipurpose Room. Two sessions to choose from on Sunday, January 22, 3:00-4:00pm or 4:15-5:15pm.   
Friday, February 10 - Mother/Son Day at the Storm Hockey Game
6:00pm - approx.10:00pm
Boys in 1st - 5th grade and their mother
$31 for the pair, $15 for additional child
Join us for a locker room tour, meet & greet with select players, pre-game party room fun and food, and post-game skate!  Free popcorn to all participants and a chance to ride the Zamboni! Register by February 2.

Friday, February 17 - Daddy/Daughter Date Night @ Younes Conference Center
Join us for a catered dinner, dancing, and fun!  Semi-formal attire requested.  Special dances for 1st-3rd graders and dance contest for 4th-5th graders! Register by Feb. 8.
6:00-9:30pm for girls 1st-5th grade and their dad
$32 for the pair, $15 for additional child

Financial Assistance: A 50% reduced fee for program registration is available for families with lower incomes. If you are currently eligible for public assistance and/or meet income guidelines, you may complete an application for this reduced fee. You will be required to show proof of income and social service I.D.
