Emergency
Response Team

Are you calm during emergencies and like helping others in need? This team of volunteer members will be trained on emergency preparedness guidelines and will assist staff in directing occupants during an emergency, such as a severe weather incident or fire. No experience needed, just an ability to be calm and a desire to serve. New and current team members are invited to attend our next meeting  Tuesday, August 14 , 6:30pm in DAC 417. Email  Mickey Shelley with questions.

As we explore the Art of Discipleship and our palette of Pray, Worship, Give, Serve and Witness, how would you determine the colors of activities listed? We gave you a couple...how would you color other items on our faith canvas?

7th Grade Confirmation

Confirmation is a wonderful starting point within the United Methodist Church wherein 7th grade students can delve deeply into the tenets of our faith and ask tough questions in a safe environment. The promise parents make at their student's baptism to raise them in God's love is "confirmed" at this time. Students who have not previously been baptized have an opportunity to do so along with their confirmation at the end of the class. Register now - class begins September 9!

Parents will need to attend one of the informational meetings in YAC 404, Sunday, August 19, 12:15-1:15pm or Wednesday, August 22, 6:15-7:15pm.
