People Who Pray
Luke 11:1-10

Do you have all the answers? A life without prayer assumes that you do. Disciples of Jesus Christ take the time to pray often, listening for God's voice over their own. Prayer is humble conversation with a loving and creating God. How can we use the art of prayer to transcend our own thoughts and reach into the heart and desires of God?

Connection Point

Sunday, January 14,
come hear about who we are at KUMC and what it means to join us. This is a time for people who are looking to join officially or get more information on ways to connect. There will be an official time to unite with us through baptism or church membership at the end of the event if you so desire. We will meet in DAC 410-411 at 5:30pm.
Finding God in Music and Culture

Monday, January 15, 7-8pm in DAC 415. This six-week series, led by Rev. Wendi Bernau of the Missional Wisdom Foundation, focuses on  Pop Culture Music,  on musicians who profess faith but chose not to be part of the "Church Music Industry." The class will be considering the artist as prophet - what do these artists say about who God is, who we are and how we live as people of faith? Being outside the Church Music power structure, these artists have the ability to speak some challenging words to the institutional church. Through group discussion, class members will be able to go deeper in their understanding of who God is and the ways we can see God. Registration is not required. Contact Trey West for details!
