Aloha,
Picnic for Poki Hawaiian Music Concert
Thursday, April 20, 2017 - 11:00 am

Special Guest: Kalena, Kahala & Katz Trio

Roselani Place and Ola Na Mele Productions invite you to join us for a Picnic for Poki at 11:00 AM at the Historic Kaahumanu Church in Wailuku Town, 103 South High Street on Thursday, April 20, 2017. Our featured guest with live Hawaiian entertainment will be Kalena, Kahala & Katz Trio (Glenn Foster, Kahala Greig and Joel Katz).

Each of them honed their individual music skills through years of luau show performances to one day meet and share their talents together at the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel and the Old Lahaina Luau . . . Their love of Hawaiian and Hapa Haole songs is evident in their presentation, full of aloha and respect for the culture that they cherish. As the cool mist descends from Iao Valley the nahenahe (gentle) sounds of Kalena, Kahala and Katz permeate the air and fill the hearts and soul of our kupuna . . . Ea la,ea la,ea!

Bring your lunch with you and enjoy fresh baked cookies from Roselani Place. Relax under the monkey pod tree for an hour or so at this free event, which is open to the public.

Picnic for Poki is held every third Thursday on the month to continue bringing the spirit of aloha and Hawaiian music to the Maui community in honor of the late Allen "Braddah Poki" Pokipala. Braddah Poki was dedicated to sharing Hawaiian music throughout various venues in Hawaii. For more information, contact Diane at 871-7720.
