work at what was the old McTavish school in Central Saanich. The school has been purchased by a private owner and is in the process of transitioning into an Art Institute featuring everything from dance to music, and of course many different facets of artwork production. In the near future, the outside of the school will make the transition to be used for agricultural purposes. Jay will be working on site two days a week to help maintain the property; he's very excited and proud to showcase his yard maintenance skills.  On a recent visit to the site Jay put on a demonstration on the lawnmower for all to see.

Paskin House News

Kylie loved her one-week Disney Cruise to the Caribbean with stops at The Grand Cayman Islands and Disney's own island Castaway Cay.  She loved every single day and all the activities which included the Pirate Party and fireworks, swimming
in the beautiful blue water in the Caribbean, and shopping.  Some of her favourite memories were Tracy's broken luggage, seeing all the characters especially Mickey and Minnie, and trying escargot for the first time and loving it!  Kylie loved the seafood at every meal and wondered why we can't eat like this in the group home.  Kylie has a 3-year plan for her next holiday; a girls only Disney cruise to the Panama Canal.

Lakes Road House News

Lakes Home plays baseball at a park on Quamichan Lake every Wednesday. We play with participants from three other day programs and other individuals that want to join in. The scenery of the lake, swans, ducks, geese, float planes, canoes and kayaks make this a very interesting place to be.
