Kat Trio Mini Concert
Sunday, August 6, 10:15 a.m., Sanctuary

This classical ensemble, with members Victoria Gorbich (violin), Vladislav Gorbich (clarinet) and Joseph Ross (piano), will perform a "mini-concert" during the Christian Formation Hour. These talented musicians are back with us to share their inspired arrangements of classical pieces, hymns and American popular standards. This concert will take the place of adult classes on August 6, so plan to stay after worship or come early to be moved and inspired by beautiful music.
Message on Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23

In the Parable of the Sower we learn how God keeps taking chances on our response to the seeds God sows. With God's grace to "water" us, we can transform from dust into fertile soil for growing the seeds of God's kingdom.
First Church Ministries Highlights

During worship we express our appreciation for the wide variety of critical ministries to which our friends and members give their gifts of time and energy as an offering to God. There are many ways we can give to God and serve our neighbors. Maybe you will be inspired!
Joys & Concerns
We extend our condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Jeff Da Walt, who died on Monday, July 17. A funeral will be held at First Church on Sunday, July 23 at 3 p.m. A time of visitation will begin at 1 p.m. in the Sanctuary. There will be a reception in Fellowship Hall following the service.
