About the Katy ISD Board Election
AboutThe Katy ISD Board of Trustees has called for a Board election to be held May 7, 2016. This Board is comprised of seven members who are elected at-large to fill available positions. In accordance with the provisions of the Texas Education Code, a person may not be elected as a trustee of Katy ISD unless the person is a qualified voter.

EligibilityAn individual seeking election as a member of the Board of Trustees must have been a resident of the state for 12 months and a resident of the District six months prior to the last date on which the candidate could file to be listed on the ballot. The following persons have filed as candidates for the upcoming election.

Early voting hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning on Monday, April 25, and ending on Tuesday, May 3 at five locations.

A special early voting date will be held at the five early voting sites on Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Regular voting hours on Election Day are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
