Eye On The Ball! 6/22/16

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
KEEP YOU EYE ON THE BALL!!!!
How many times did I shout these words to my two sons as they stood in the batter's box!!!
"
Don't worry about the motion of the pitcher's arm or the noise of the hostile crowd!
KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The Prophet Isaiah must have been a baseball dad because it was he who shouted to his children:

3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Once again, I find myself repulsed by the daily/hourly "NEWS" spewing forth via the internet, printed page and other assorted "media."
Need I remind you that there are ONLY SIX "news" corporations and it is they who decide what "WE, THE SHEEPLE" hear!
Long ago, a great and powerful ruler inquired of our Lord and Savior:

Lately, in the cool of the evenings, I find myself more attracted to watching my humming birds feed at their feeder than watch the "talking heads!"
This is precisely what Jesus warned us about:

If WE allow the lies of THIS world to contaminate our MINDS, our hearts WILL indeed fail us!
WE, as followers of Jesus Christ, MUST "KEEP OUR EYES ON THE BALL!"

You and I MUST forcibly remove our heads, hearts and MINDS from the filth, lies, deceit and deception of THIS world and:
TURN OUR EYES UPON JESUS!!!
