Plow Through Winter Training with These Tips
Make a Date. Agree on a regular meeting time with a friend and stick to it. Being accountable to each other will keep you training on even the coldest days!
 
Care for your Feet. Wear socks that wick away wetness but keep in warmth, like the SmartWool technology found hiking and skiing gear.

Dress Smart.  Dress as if it's 20 degrees warmer than it actually is, and you'll be cool when you first step outside but not burning up at the end. Layers are key and zippers are a plus ( think: ventilation ). 

Shine Bright.  Wear reflective gear, a headlamp, or carry a flashlight to stay safe and be seen. It can be very dark before and after work during your training sessions. 

Change Fast.  Change out of damp clothes when you get home to avoid a long lasting chill. Then, enjoy a hot beverage and congratulate yourself for not giving up!
