Town Manager Ballot Question Delayed

The Town Council has decided to form a Charter Review Commission and place on hold any ballot question that deals with the Town Administrator vs. Town Manager position.

There will be more information at the March Town Council meeting as to how residents will be selected to get on the commission.

Several residents came to the Council meeting on Monday night and expressed pros and cons on the issue of hired vs. elected. One suggestion was to go from a two year to a four year term for Administrator and stagger the Town Council terms.

More information will be sent out as the date approaches.
