Ongoing Superfund Monitoring Near Pound Hill Road
Beginning the week of June 13th

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Woodard and Curran will be performing some wetland and ecological surveys near the L&RR landfill, beginning the week of June 13th and continue through most of June. Residents may see the survey and sampling teams but no heavy equipment or drilling will be happening before the end of June. This is part of the ongoing process to monitor wells in the L&RR Superfund site area by the Environmental Protection Agency to ensure that the site remains on track with remediation efforts.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Sarah White from the EPA at white.sarah@epa.gov.
