Keiro No Hi: Celebrating Our Elders

Last weekend, America celebrated Grandparents Day but in Japan, it is called Keiro No Hi. The Japanese holiday is intended to celebrate the contributions, history, wisdom, and experiences of our elders who came before us. Do you know how this holiday was started? Learn more about the history of this important tradition and what you can do to honor our community's older adults.
Fun, Friends, and Food at the ESGVJCC

As we age, it is important to continue eating nourishing meals, keeping busy with fun activities, exercising regularly, and hanging out with friends. Through a grant from Keiro, the East San Gabriel Valley Japanese Community Center's vibrant, multifaceted program has enabled older adults to do just that.
Introducing Lynn Miyamoto

Keiro has named Lynn Miyamoto as Chair of the Board. Ms. Miyamoto is the fifth board chair and first female board chair in Keiro's history.
