Ukuleles for Little Tokyo

Music can be a powerful agent when combating the challenges of aging, and studies show benefits to beginning music instruction between ages 60 to 85. The Japanese American Cultural and Community Center's class called Ukuleles for Little Tokyo, funded by a Keiro Grant, offers opportunities for older adults to get engaged and stay engaged in the arts and in their community.  Read More
Keiro at Kizuna Summer Camp

This summer, Keiro presented at two of Kizuna's Summer Camp Programs to talk to children about "Hanging Out with Older Adults." At both the West Los Angeles and South Bay locations, students learned the importance of interacting with older adults. More importantly though, we believe that no one is too young to be a caregiver.
