The secret to staying healthy is aloe, gratitude, harmony, and collaboration.
Miyake-san is a Kibei Nisei turning 100 next summer. He is still very active in the Japanese American community and also a Keiro vitality forum attendee. To this day, he drives himself wherever he goes.

When asked about his secrets to staying healthy, he shared many tips with us, including being involved in the community and eating aloe three times a day.
