Lieutenant Governor Mike Foley
visits Keith County
During his tour, he stopped in to new businesses and talked with owners about economic development.

He says the communities commitment to growing the private sector is one of the best things about Ogallala.

He is proud to see young people return and open more businesses.

"That is so encouraging to see young people opening up businesses here, charting their futures here in this community. It bodes very, very well for the future," says Foley.
KCAD PROGRAMS
KCAD TUITION REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM
The recruitment and retention of qualified employees is necessary to see business success and growth in any community.

The Keith County Area Development Tuition Reimbursement Program assists area employers in creating leverage to recruit the right employee to Keith County. With the program, employers are able to offer a higher starting wage as an incentive to recent community college graduates.

KCAD REVOLVING LOAN FUND
The success of small, local business is vital to the growth of Keith County and the surrounding areas. In order to assist with business start-ups, expansions, upgrades or business transitions, Keith County Area Development has established the KCAD Revolving Loan Fund (RLF). The RLF is designed to provide financing in partnership with local banks in order to minimize the risk of the financial institutions, thus making the project more feasible for the borrower and lender.

KCAD is proud to have dispersed roughly $41,000 in business assistance with the RLF thus far! Keep those applications coming!
