CONGRATULATIONS TO THE
KEY BUSINESS AWARD WINNERS!

The Greater Westside Board of Trade hosted its annual Key Business Awards Gala Thursday September 18 at Two Eagles Golf Course.

"The greater Westside's business community truly came together to make this evening a great success. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to our corporate sponsors, judges and to all those who attended as we had our best attendance ever," says Marek Buryska, Board of Trade Co-Chair.

With the theme of 'Collaboration for Innovation', keynote speaker, Mark Jennings-Bates spoke about the importance of business owners being able to provide a working environment that encourages collaboration among employees, with the ultimate results being an increased bottom line.

"Mark talked about thinking outside the box and being visionary. By looking to the future and working backwards, the rules change and boundaries are broken. This opens up communication and inspiration from groups you would not traditionally interact with. This theme perfectly aligns with the Greater Westside Board of Trade's current goals - to work with other organizations and find solutions that benefit the entire Okanagan region," said Norm LeCavalier, Co-Chair.

The evening began with finalists and sponsors enjoying a reception sponsored by Gorman Bros with the West Kelowna Music School Performance Group performing entertaining guests. Wine was provided by Little Straw Vineyards and Summerhill Pyramid Winery and sponsored by Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan.
