Chef Fabrizio Aielli, co-owner of Sea Salt with his wife, Ingrid, explored
James Beard's relationship with truffles and discovered a book of Beard's collected letters entitled, "Love and Kisses and a Halo of Truffles."
James Beard's letters and recipes make numerous references to truffles as delicacies to be enjoyed in as many dishes as the imagination can conjure.
Our "Halo of Truffles" dinner will continue the tradition. Chef Fabrizio is gathering together his culinary team, vintners, truffle hunters from Italy, and James Beard Foundation leadership to create a memorable event that begins the Naples season on the highest note.
