Annual 43rd Ward City Sticker Sale Next Week

The 43rd Ward's annual   City Sticker Sale is Friday, June 9th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM at  the DePaul University Student Center, 2250 N. Sheffield Ave in Room 324. Vehicle stickers, senior stickers, residential zone stickers, transfers, residential daily permits and motorcycle antique vehicle tags are available at this City Clerk's Office event. New residents must provide proof of residency, such as a lease or mortgage statement or a utility bill, and their vehicle registration, to buy a City Sticker. Cash payments will not be accepted, so please bring a debit or credit card, or personal check.

CPC Child Passenger Safety Seat Event and Bike Safety Tips

This  Saturday, June 3rd from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 1160 N Larrabee you can attend a  child passenger safety seat event. A certified technician will be on hand for free car seat inspections. Safety tips and assistance with installation will also be provided. Please RSVP to Officer Baker at 312-742-5778. If there is bad weather, the event will move to the Target, 1200 N Larrabee.

Lincoln Central Association's 4th annual  Spring Zing  promises to another magical afternoon of family fun, featuring face painting, kite decorating, entertainment from  Magician Sean Masterson , great prizes, and more. Come out on Saturday, June 3rd from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the corner of Dickens & Lincoln.

40 years for the Lincoln Park Greek Fest

Lincoln Park Greek Fest is returning for its 40th anniversary this weekend, Friday June 2nd through Sunday, June 4th at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 2701 N Sheffield Ave from  5:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Friday, Noon - 11:00 PM on Saturday and Noon - 10:00 PM on Sunday. Proceeds from donations go to restoring St. George Church. More about the fest here.

Spring Concert with Lincoln Park High School

Free Women's Self-Defense Seminar

Join State Representatives Sara Feigenholtz and Ann Williams for a free women's self-defense seminar from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 3rd at the Japanese Culture Center, 1016 W Belmont Avenue. Self-defense instructors will be present to conduct demonstrations and discuss ways that women can help keep themselves safe. Space is limited, so RSVP is required. The Village Chicago 8th Anniversary Celebration

The Village Chicago will celebrate their 8th anniversary on Monday, June 5th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Galleria Marchetti, 825 W Erie Street with a performance by the renowned Joe Diamond and David Parr whose magic is rated by the Travel Channel as one of America's the top nine magic shows. Drivers License/State ID Renewals

Also  Tuesday, June 6th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the 18th District Community Relations Office and the IL Secretary of State Mobile Unit will be at Rhine Stamps center, 1327 N Larrabee, with on-site services such as driver's license and State ID renewals. Review more details here.

Old Town Art Fair Going Strong!

This summer the  Old Town Art Fair celebrates an incredible 69th year next weekend. On Saturday,  June 10th and Sunday, June 11th from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM  you can see   the  work of more than 250 nationally acclaimed artists. Enjoy music, a food court, children's craft area and a garden walk.    

Sincere thanks to the hundreds of volunteers who make this  the #1 Art Fair in the country. Your suggested $10 donation supports the Old Town Art Center, the Menonomee Boys and Girls Club, beautification of Old Town and grants to local schools and charities.  See you there!

Wintrust Condominium Association Seminar 

Join Wintrust Bank - Old Town and Community Advantage on Tuesday, June 13th at 6:00 PM at the Wintrust Bank - Old Town Atrium, 100 W North Avenue for a condominium association seminar geared toward association board members and condominium association property managers. All condo owners are welcome to attend. Cravings on Clark 2017 

Food lovers of all shapes and sizes get your forks, knives, and spoons ready because you won't be able to resist the savory and sweet dishes at the fourth annual Cravings on Clark restaurant crawl on Wednesday, June 14th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Join the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce as they celebrate the great restaurants, eateries, and shops on Clark Street in Lincoln Park. Operation Help A Hero

The 43rd Ward and Operation Help-A-Hero will be collecting basic household items and toiletries now through July 4th in an effort to help the hundreds of Chicagoland veterans who are homeless. Only new, store bought items will be accepted. Click here to view suggested donation items. All donations will be delivered to the United State's Department of Veteran's Affairs, who will distribute materials to qualifying veterans   in need of assist ance. Please drop off donations at the Ward office, 2523 N. Halsted Street.
