Babies Prefer to Hear 'Baby Talk' From Other Babies
When babies hear sounds from other babies, they smile and move their mouths-almost as if they know this is a sound that they could try to make themselves. Click on the link below to see why researchers think this happens.

Get in touch if you or someone you know might be interested! Currently our volunteers who do visits are Anne Farley and Vicki Rich... they know ALL about having babies and raising them here! - Steve

Ahhhhhh
Clean carpet

There was a flood in the Playroom hall last week, but the carpet has been shampooed!

The Playroom is in front of Hannafords in Morrisville... it's a free play space for you. Come play... or just use the bathroom or the wifi... The Playroom is open Tuesday and Thursday from 9 till 3, and on Friday from 9 till noon.

You can also arrange to use the Playroom at other times... and you can join the crack team of elite volunteers who sometimes staff it...

New vocab from my 14 year old: "dank" as in "That trick is dank", "scrub" (refers to cool hair style) "Dude, you look scrub"

I know, no image. But here:  Building Bright Futures  Just released an important Policy Brief on Childhood Neglect. It's significantly more prevalent in the United States, and in Vermont, than Childhood abuse. We pay much less attention to it however. Please check out the brief here.
A new baby brother!
