April Newsletter
Good evening,

The Book of Proverbs says “ Sluggards do not plow in season; so at harvest time they look but find nothing” (Proverbs 20:4). We’ve had a very busy “non-stop” March here in D.C. We’re happy to share that our church plant is experiencing much of the “fruit” of what we’ve been “sowing” since our inception. God is the giver of every good gift. We’re also realizing that starting a church in downtown D.C. is the hardest and craziest thing we’ve ever done in our lives. We’re so grateful for your prayers, financial support, and well-wishes as we work hard to minister in Washington, D.C.
We've been meeting in a hotel in Northeast D.C. for some time now. We are thankful for our time here and have tons of stories about how our team blessed the hotel staff and how they strengthened us.

We're finalizing details for two unique "phase 2" and "phase 3" meeting locations for our services in the summer months. Please keep these moves in your prayers as we seek to be accessible and visible in the city.
This month, we are grateful to have started five Discovery Groups, a weekly Bible study, and a morning prayer huddle.

We maximized our weekly online presence with social media and website access.

We don't have the capability to record our services but we do have guides from our latest series.

May events, so far.
Do you know someone looking for a church in or around D.C.? Send them our way.

We live by faith, but always welcome sacrificial financial support. Please consider giving a one-time gift. New churches cannot operate without support!
Please pray for God's wisdom and grace as we plan to make two consecutive location moves over the next few months!

Please pray for rest and endurance for those who are elderly and sick among us.

Please pray for God to work in more powerful ways among us, transforming lives, helping people to go deeper, and creating stronger bonds.
Now all the tax collectors and sinners were gathering around to listen to Jesus. So the Pharisees and scribes began to grumble: “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”

Then Jesus told them this parable: “What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the pasture and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders, comes home, and calls together his friends and neighbors to tell them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost sheep!’ In the same way, I tell you that there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous ones who do not need to repent (Luke 15:1-17)
