March Newsletter
This was our first month as a newly organized congregation in the heart of our Capital, Washington, D.C. This month we've encouraged children through play, grown our businesses, promoted the best in people, stood up for the oppressed, remained faithful to our spouses, provided warm and secure homes, read great books, spoke the truth about unpleasant things, joined in marriage, resisted arrogance, confronted the eternal adversary, paid close attention to people, assisted the hungry, brought peace, offered hospitality to friends and strangers, kept the sacred fire burning, and, most of all, lived and shared the good news of Jesus Christ. Life is not meaningless - we are happy in God.
We're quickly outgrowing our Sunday Morning "hotel" worship space.

Much more significantly, we have meaningful and Christ-rich services.

The best thing about our services is the warm community and authentic friendships birthed from a community committed to Jesus.
We're excited to be starting Discovery Groups, a weekly Bible study, a morning prayer huddle, and continue with our Women's and Men's monthly groups.

We are also in process of teaming with U.S. Marine Corps to serve our local military service members (About 2/3 of our church has affiliation with our Armed Services).
Do you know someone looking for a church in or around D.C.? We've been blessed by many referrals in the past: send them our way.

Interested in a short-term mission trip? We have a lot of needs and would love to serve with you. Check this link out for more information. We would love to host your church or ministry.

We live by faith, but always welcome sacrificial financial support. Please consider giving a one-time gift. You don't know how much it helps us to operate.
As mentioned last time, King's Church has been surprisingly blessed with possible options for weekly worship space. Please pray for God's wisdom and grace in landing the right spot. Space in D.C. is difficult to come by!

Please pray for a good start for our Discovery Groups, we hope to start seven in the next four weeks.

Please pray for spiritual endurance for our core team members. This is so important.

Please pray for those sick, struggling with finances, and lonely. On our team and those we seek to love.
We're thankful for your support, prayers, and giving. New churches cannot exist without people like you who pray, give, and believe in the work of starting new churches.
