KITCHEN BEFORE: uh-oh

The range is wedged into the corner. The dishwasher is far from the sink 
and draining into the laundry sink one floor below. Wall cabinets too short.
KITCHEN AFTER: that's more like it!

Kitchen wall replaced with peninsula for storage and serving. More room around the range for prepping and cooking. Mid-century modern look and feel.

California.
Low Voltage Radiant Floor Heat

I'm excited to be trying out a new sustainable product called Chill Out radiant floor heat. We installed it for the first time yesterday in our South Orange kitchen project where it will be underneath hardwood floors. There were a few tweaks necessary (#LearningCurve) but the electricians were impressed and I have high hopes for this. Will keep you posted! In the meantime, here's an info video.
