On Friday, May 25 th , homeroom teachers, PreK-11th Grade, will be available in their classrooms to receive you between 9 am-11 am. This casual environment will allow for special goodbyes between students, parents, and teachers. Summer Packets, along with Reading List will handed out on this day as well.  Last Day of Classes is on Wednesday, May 23 rd .  

Lost and Found will be on display in the Elementary Gym on Friday, May 25 th .  
Friday is a Spirit Day. We have all of our current spirit shirts on sale for HALF OFF this week only! This offer is for the sports and spirit shirts. You can purchase your shirts in the Elementary Office (Does not include hoodies, jackets, polos or v necks or other accessories.)

Moms In Prayer meets every Thursday from 1:45-2:45pm in The Family Church’s Hospitality Room. Any mom, aunt, or grandmother wishing to pray for LCA is welcome to attend. All prayer requests are held confidential and what is prayed in the group stays in the group. General Announcements:

You can take advantage of a 5% discount by pre paying tuition from May 1 st - May 21 st for the 2018-2019 school year. Payments must be made in the elementary/business office and must be cash or check only. Reminder that this is for tuition only- curriculum fees and lunch contracts will be due in August.

If you reregistered for 2018/2019 school year but decided that your student will not return, please let us know as soon as you can so that we can open up the spots to families in the waiting pool.

All tuition account balances for the 2017-2018 school term must be paid in full by May 10 th

Swap Shop

The annual Swap Shop has been scheduled for July 14, 2018 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am in the Dining Hall. Parents can take advantage of purchasing gently used uniforms from parents who will be set up at various tables selling uniforms independently. LCA will also have a few racks of gently used uniforms you may purchase from LCA at a designated table. Parents who are selling uniforms independently must set up between 8:15 am - 8:45am to set-up their tables. Parents arriving after this time, will not be allowed to sell their uniforms.

Sr. Beta is collecting supplies for Emily House, a shelter for homeless women and children.  A flyer was sent home listing needed supplies.  Donations are due Friday, May 18th, in Mrs. Doucet's room by 3 p.m.  Any donations would be appreciated.  Please help us in God's calling to help those less fortunate.

Varsity Track

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Varsity Track and Field Teams for an outstanding season. The boys and girls both won District and Regional Championships, and the girls came home last Friday with the schools first State Championship in Track. Madison Trahan repeated as the 400 meter state champion. Madison was also on the state champion 4 x 200 meter relay along with Madisyn Rideau, Kaylie Anderson and Ajayah Simpson. The 4 x 400 meter relay also won a state title. The four members of that team were Madison Trahan, Sydney Malveaux, Kaylie Anderson and Ajayah Simpson. Bre Porter won an individual state title in the shot put.

The boys 4 x 400 meter relay (Errol Rogers, Gavin Scroggins, Calib Watts and Kailen Thibodeaux) also finished first in its race at state. Overall the boys finished seventh.

Calling Knight Nation! It’s time to celebrate the Knights and Lady Knights Varsity Basketball teams on their back-to-back State Championships!

The rings are in, the night is set, and all we’re missing are our fans. Join us on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at The Sterling and Jean Miller Dining Hall at 6:30 pm to be a part of the celebration.

There are 10 VIP tables available for purchase. Each VIP table includes seating for 6, signed posters, commemorative t-shirts, and more. Individual, general admission tickets can also be purchased for $20.
