Please make the following changes to your calendars:

Professional Development day has been changed from May 5 to May 12. That also changes Wacky Olympics to Thursday, May 11 and Sports Day to Friday, May 12.

This means that Friday, May 5, is a full day of school.  Thursday, May 11, is a full day of school, and on Friday, May 12, students will be dismissed at 12:00.

If you are interested in purchasing a luminaria in honor of or in remembrance of a loved one affected by cancer, please see any Service Club member or Ms. Petra for a Luminaria form.  The luminaria will be lit up on the evening of Relay for Life in a special ceremony at GW field.  Luminaria is $12 each.  You may decorate it or have the SJS Knight Runners (our SJS Relay For Life team) decorate it for you! All the proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life which raises funds to support cancer research.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Petra in US 406.

Wacky Olympics will be on Thursday, May 11 for students in grades PreK 3 to 2nd grade. We encourage students to bring their water bottles if possible. There will be a cooler for them to refill. All students should wear their Sports Day lime green shirts and proper gym shoes.
Parents interested in volunteering or donating fruit or water, please email Dorene at Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
