Knowing your audience
Tip of the month: Spend time developing your publics. Who are they? Where are they? How do they prefer to be reached?
Greetings!

It's scary, but true! Many businesses don't know who they are targeting to sell products or services. It may be cliché, but so many still believe "If I build it, they will come." In today's market it isn't true.

Everything we do is riddled with competition, and you must be at the top of your game in order to obtain and keep new customers.

Public relations planning is the best way to identify all publics, which may include customers, vendors, government officials, competitors and more.

Through market research and planning, you can figure out who to reach and how to best reach them.

We all have preferences for how to be reached, and we all go through similar processes when making decisions (some people are more challenged by this than others!)

In this educational video series, you'll learn more about public relations and how it can help your business.

With kind regard,

Visible Signs and Promotions
Businesses will often get excited about a fundraiser, or a current promotion and plaster it all over the office and entrance to the business. Also, many businesses decorate for various holidays.

Sometimes good intentions yield to busy schedules and these things are overlooked and not removed in a timely manner.

Be sure to keep promotions and decorating current to avoid seeming dis-organized or out-of-touch with visiting publics!
