An Achla Start to Summer!
The Word of the Summer Is...
Achla ! Achla means awesome and our first week was just that. Chanichim (campers) are getting to know their counselors, reconnecting with friends from last summer, meeting new friends, enjoying all of the activities at camp. Our first Shishi al Ha'Migrash, our weekly Friday Shabbat celebration, of the summer was filled with energy and ruach. We wish our Ramah family a Shabbat Shalom!
How are you? Achla!

Host Israeli Staff Members
Join us in welcoming 46 new shlichim (Israeli staff members) to the Ramah family and 12 returning shlichim. Our shlichim love to spend Shabbatot and weekends with the Ramah family. It's their opportunity to enjoy the greater New York area, get to know you, catch up on sleep, enjoy a home cooked meal, and even do some laundry. If you are able to host shlichim, kindly  complete this form . We will be in touch with you if we can make a successful match. Thank you very much!

Every Friday, we will post highlights from each edah (division) on the Ramah Nyack website . Click on the name of an edah below to read this week's update.

  • Upon your arrival for early dismissal, please park in the Gould parking lot (across from the entrance to Nyack High School). Please obtain a visitor's pass from our security staff and proceed to the camp office where you will meet your child and sign him or her out. Please do not take your child out of camp without signing out.
