L'hitraot First Session Campers

We said l'hitraot to our first session campers this afternoon and know how much we will miss them. We are incredibly grateful to have had the joy of watching them become more confident swimmers, skilled athletes, strong climbers, imaginative artists, and generous mitzvah-doers. Enjoy the rest of the summer; we look forward to seeing you back on the migrash for Kayitz 2018!

Gifts in Honor of your Children's Counselors
If you would like to acknowledge your child(ren)'s counselors or other staff members in a meaningful way, please consider a donation in their honor to the Ramah Day Camp in Nyack.

Staff members will receive beautiful Rosh Hashanah e-cards, containing the names of campers and families who recognized their work. If you have already made a donation in honor of your child(ren)'s counselors, your names will be included.

To donate, please click on the name of your child(ren)'s edah listed below. Todah rabah!

Spotlight on Ramah Musician-in-Residence, Josh Warshawsky
We were thrilled to welcome long-time Ramahnik and Jewish song leader, Josh Warshawsky, to our Ramah Nyack family this week as part of his Jewish Summer Camp Tour. As our musician-in-residence, Josh engaged and inspired our chanichim, bringing tefillah to life through his melodies and guitar. Josh led each edah in a variety of musical experiences including spirited sing-alongs, musical tefillah, concerts, and even joined our Tzeirim campers to sing around the campfire. You can listen to Josh's music at www.joshwarshawsky.com.

Camp News
Ramah Gets Technical
Our chanichimin had so much fun in  Ramah Tech programming and coding using Scratch (www.scratch.mit.edu), a internet-based program that is a project of MIT Media Lab. We used  Makey Makey an electronic invention kit, to bring every day objects to life using the programs we created in Scratch!

Limited spaces are still available for our Ramah Sport specialty camp. Please click here for additional information.
Ramah Adventure

Every day our chanichim experience new and exciting adventures. We love seeing our campers challenge themselves at migdal (high and low ropes course), soar through the air on our new zip line, hike on the shvil, learn how to safely make a fire in bishul bachutz (outdoor cooking), or garden in teva (nature). Our beautiful camp setting offers campers many opportunities to explore!
