MileWalker County attorney goes extra mile

Jessica Betts , a divorce attorney from Walker County, decided to help a woman she met while volunteering at the Domestic Relations Help Desk because the woman could not afford a divorce.  "I try to put myself in a client's shoes and would hope that someone would help me out in a time of need," Jessica said.
WeatherSnow doesn't slow down BBVLP
Despite the forecast of snow, the Domestic Relations Help Desk staff was on-site to help clients. This man, who needed legal help, was grateful the courthouse security allowed the BBVLP to open for its regular morning Help Desk.
