LA-SER Group Grows Worldwide Healthcare Economics Consulting Capabilities Through Key Strategic Acquisitions; Global Reach Now Spans Three Continents

London - LA-SER today announced that the Company significantly expanded its highly specialized worldwide healthcare economics consulting capabilities by entering into agreements to acquire three leading research companies including Analytica International, Inc. (U.S. & Germany), PBE Consulting (Italy)and BAP Health Outcomes / Salumetrics (Spain).  Upon closing, LA-SER's  newly combined team will be comprised of over 200 highly-trained scientific staff , making LA-SER an international leader in the field of population health intelligence including a wide range of proprietary research  services with a presence in eight countries spanning three continents.

In addition to Analytica International, LA-SER has acquired BAP Health Outcomes / Salumetrics from Spain and PBE Consulting from Italy. 

BAP was founded by Pablo Rebollo in 2004 and is specialized in Quality of life studies and psychometric, patient reported outcomes, utility studies and item-response theory. "LA-SER brings together an impressive team of professionals dedicated to real world measurement of the value of health care interventions. PBE Consulting was founded by Patrizia Berto in 1997. Patrizia is internationally known as an Italian specialist in market access, with more than 20 years experience in both industry and as a consultant.
