LA Singles Society & The LemonDrop Club Team Up Again For Glendale Dance PartyAfter our highly successful New Year's Eve Party, where over 250 attended, at the Sportsman's Lodge in Studio City, we have decided to join forces again for a dance party at Embassy Suites, 800 N. Central Ave. on April 14 at 7:00 PM.The hotel, off of the Central Ave. exit, is only a few years old and is one half block north of the Ventura Fry (134). It can be easily reached by singles in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley, as well as those in the San Fernando (eight miles east of Sherman Oaks) and Santa Clarita Valleys. Those coming from downtown out to the westside will find this to be only a 30-40 minute drive. We'll have a great band playing for your listening and dancing pleasure, The Generation Gap Band, on Glendale's largest dance floor. They not only play great old rock tunes, but they are equally adept at disco and more current faire. These very talented guys all sing as well as play various instruments. www.generationgapband.net/About-Us.html We'll serve a dinner buffet from 8:00 to 9:30 PM featuring two different pastas and sauces, a salad, etc. At 7:00 we'll have a free beginner dance lesson until 8:00 with one of the instructors at the Fred Astaire Studios in Pasadena. So, be sure to come early. Parking, $5, is beneath the building, (Be sure and pull directly into Hotel entrance and go left down Ramp to Garage. The garage next to Hotel is not for the Embassy Suites and cost much more.) a short elevator ride away from the party. Street parking is available on side streets immediately to the west of the hotel. In addition we'll be featuring 80s and 90s music videos during the band breaks. Between our two groups we have over 6000 members. But, we will promote this to singles groups all over Los Angeles and Orange counties. So, be sure to reserve & pay early to secure your spot.
