Activity with Christine Jarvis
"Pulled String Art"

Anyone can make unique works of art by dipping string into paint or ink, making pulled string art.  Christine will provide all materials for this fun activity, but it can be a little messy so bring an apron or smock!

Christine is a dedicated mixed media recycle addict who specializes in acrylics and found objects. She is often found digging through piles of discards looking for just the right accent for a piece. Her work tends to focus on science and the environment, the deviance of man, the increasing wold population, the effects of industry on the planet and the consequences this has on nature.

Each project consists of multiple works, often in a range of different media, grouped around specific themes and meanings.

Christine won 1st place at the Boulder County Fair in 2017 for mixed media.
