Department copies of Generation Me and The Narcissism Epidemic by Dr. Jean Twenge, Faculty Exchange for Teaching Excellence Spring 2016 Workshop speaker, are available on the office bookshelf. Please let Jody know when you borrow and return the books.  

OUR CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Assistant Professor Greg Newmark recieved an Open/Alternative Textbook award. The $5,000 award will support development of an electronic textbook for PLAN 315.
 
OF INTEREST
The Finding Center Conference, presented by Oklahoma State University's ASLA Student Chapter. takes place April 7-8, 2016.  Finding Center is a free conference with a "grass roots approach" to sustainability, open to professionals, educators, students, and the public. The Alliance for Historic Landscape Preservation 38th Annual Meeting will be held in Chicago, June 1-4, 2016. Abstracts are due March 3, 2016. Click here for the call for abstracts.

ASLA's call for presentations for the 2016 Annual Meeting has been announced. The deadline for education session proposals is Jan. 28, 2016 and  information is available here.

The 2016 Pro Walk/Pro Bike/Pro Place Conference will be held in Vancouver, Sept. 12-15, 2016. Moving Towards a Healthier World is the conference theme and proposals are sought for four focus areas: Mobility, Governance, Health, and Resilience. The call for proposals closes Friday, Jan. 29, 2016 at 8pm Eastern. Click here for more information.
