Courtney Boman as been appointed the interim managing director for The Center for Rural Enterprise Engagement and the editor for ruralengagement.orgShe will continue in her role for the LARCP Department.

Professor Tim Keane presented  Stream Channel Succession and Sediment Dynamics: Black Vermillion River, KS  and was a panelist for Principles into Practice - How do we Integrate the Science and Practice of Stream Restoration? at the Rocky Mountain Stream Restoration conference in Breckenridge, CO, July 18-23.

Van Alen Institute and AECOM have launched Fair Share, a student competition inviting multidisciplinary teams from around the world to apply the tools and principles of the "sharing economy" to tackle pressing urban challenges. The Transportation Research Board Committee on Landscape and Environmental Design (AFB40) is a group of Landscape Architects and other professionals working in the transportation sector. The Committee is concerned with design parameters that relate to protecting, conserving, restoring, and enhancing safe, sustainable, and livable transportation systems, facilities, and their associated environments. Click here for more information.
