ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Center for Engagement and Community Development is searching for a new project coordinator to replace Myles Alexander. Please review the position description (here) and recommend the position to qualified individuals you know.

The landscape architecture  Self-Evaluation Report and Support Materials for the re-accreditation visit is available
in the KSOL LARCP Faculty>Academic Affairs folder. Please review the team's itinerary attached to the Events & Deadlines calendar to ensure that you have your obligations to the team on your calendar. The Portfolio of student work is too large to upload but can be sent to you via Google drive--just ask Jody to share it.

LARCP 2015 interns will make presentations
 about their internship experiences each Tuesday 11:30 am - 12:30 pm, Sept. 15 through Oct. 13 in Seaton 306. Click here  to see the calendar of presenters and their employers. 
OUR CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Assistant Professor Huston Gibson is representing MSCD at K-State Global Campus Booth at the League of Kansas Municipalities on Oct. 12 in Topeka, KS.

Associate Professor Jon Hunt will have two drawings
in the juried exhibition "Thinking Through Drawing: International Drawing & Cognition Research and Education" in London, England, November 2015. The exhibit will be at Bargehouse, Oxo Tower Wharf.

Kansas State University Global Campus is currently accepting course proposals for May (May 16-June 3) and August (Aug. 1-19) 2016 intersessions. Please talk with Stephanie about any plans to submit a proposal. With approval, you may submit your intersession courses through the online form or contact the intersession program coordinator, Jo Maseberg-Tomlinson, at jam4545@k-state.edu or 785-532-2570.

Saturday, Oct. 31.

When the Well Runs Dry  Film screening and commentary by the filmmaker and K- State faculty members, along with audience discussion will take place  Thursday, Oct. 22, 5:30 pm at the Beach Museum  UMB Theater. Click here for more information about the PSI hosted event.

The 12th annual Community Capitals Institute (CCFI) invites abstracts from those interested in presenting a paper, workshop or poster session. The institute will be held from Jan. 5-7, 2016, in Turrialba, Cartago Province, Costa Rica. Click here for more information.
