Assistant professor Anne Beamish presented "Before Parks: Public Landscapes in Colonial American Cities" at the Society for American City and Regional Planning History (SACRPH) Conference in Los Angeles, CA, Nov.5-8. 

Assistant Professor Kate Nesse presented The importance of quality of life in brewery location decisions at the NARSC (North American Regional Science Council) in Portland, OR Nov. 11-15.

Academic Advisor Rachel Robillard attended the Institute for Student Learning Assessment/Diversity Summit Nov. 11-13.

Professor and Head Stephanie Rolley received the ASLA Outstanding Service Award during the national meeting in Chicago on November 8.  Read more information here. 

Associate Professors La Barbara Wigfall and Katie Kingery-Page presented "New Kansas Roots for Students: Building Cultural Competency through the Nicodemus Project" at the 2015 Institute for Student Learning Assessment/Diversity Summit at K-State, Nov. 13. Wigfall and Kingery-Page were joined by RCP alumn, Lauren Garrott and Nicodemus descendent, Johnella Holmes, for this panel presentation.

Associate Professor Katie Kingery-Page presented "Meadow -Thinking" at the Nov. 12 Leonardo Art-Science Evening Rendezvous (LASER) hosted by the K-State department of art and held at the Beach Museum.
