This is so awesome...  Baby Lock invited all the Bloggers, Editors, Designers and Internet Celebrities of the Sewing World to a conference at their headquarters in St. Louis.  My favorite part was around 1:39 when the young ladies talked about how cool it was to go on a tour of Baby Lock's headquarters where they listened to Ken Tacony talk so passionately about how items are transported to the front of the warehouse to be shipped.
And now they are all sewing on Baby Lock machines!!!!!

Not a good day yesterday... 
Drove all the way from Baltimore  for the third fitting on her dress.  It is too tight in the waist, too loose in the bust, lumpy on the sides, no straps, no bustle.  Bride is in tears. 
and...   The Groom was robbed!
Then my water heater broke. 

 My dresses came and one actually (sort of) fit!  I love it!
Bride is coming home for the weekend. I called in the Calvary and we are all going to work on the dress ~ and the favors, the cookie boxes and the hotel bags.  Sound like we have too much to do?  I wouldn't have it any other way.

The Aunts from Cape Cod offered to bring cookies.
 Our Pittsburgh traditions  are contagious!

This is the favor I am making for each guest.  A little pair of vintage scissors with an embroidered tag to remember the occasion.  I was calling them stork scissors until someone said, "What are you doing giving stork scissors at a wedding?"  So now they are vintage scissors.    


This will bring back memories...
