There are just 2 places left on this 4-week course that covers the essential practices of Screenwriting.
Before coming along you do not need to know anything about Screenwriting, but should have a couple of ideas in mind for what your short film could be about.
The course includes:
- Explanation and guidance about the format and structure of a screenplay to ensure that your script looks professional and meets industry standards.
- Ways to brainstorm ideas and find a story that will keep your viewers hooked
- Writing visually: how to tell stories using images and making the best use of film
- Understanding Genre and its importance to a screenplay
- Dialogue & Character: how to write interesting characters that are believable, and give them memorable dialogue
- Plot: how to make your script surprising and original so that it can really stand out.
This is an intensive, hands-on course and you
will be writing and reading out your work throughout.
Even if you don't have a film idea, you'll be surprised at all you can achieve in just 4 weeks!
