Paper Shredding Event | Oct. 7th
The City of Long Beach is hosting a FREE shredding event to help residents securely dispose of confidential documents. 

Accepted at event: Confidential documents, white or colored paper, staples & paperclips, CDs, credit cards, manila file folders, envelopes, hard drives, cell phones, 3-ring binders, cardboard. 
   
Holiday Notice | Columbus Day
On Monday, October 9th:

  • Street sweeping WILL occur on Monday, including enforcement of street sweeping violations.

  • Parking meters will be enforced unless the meter states "Except on Holidays".

  • Refuse and Recycling collection WILL occur as normal.
