Principal Message: December 7, 2017
BRRR...IT IS COLD OUTSIDE. We have had a great week at LES, and we want to thank our PTA for providing us the program of Dr. Recess. He taught our students all inclusive games for everyone to be included at recess. Our PTA also provided us with the equipment for these games. We appreciate all of the volunteers who came in and helped us during our recess. Our students loved it, and we are excited about playing the new games during recess. As a reminder, we will go outside as long as the wind chill is above 32 degrees. Please make sure that you send your child with a sweat shirt or coat. Don't forget to write your child's name in it so we can return it if ends up in our Lost and Found.
We would also like to thank our PTA for our NEW water bottle filler fountain.
Our first one has been installed by our gym, and after Christmas, we will install the second one by the Kindergarten/First Grade rest rooms. Don't forget to send your child to school with a non-breakable water bottle.
As always, if you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
