Principal Message:  February 9, 2017

Dear Parents,

We have had another great week of learning at Lovejoy Elementary.  As a reminder, if your child has a temperature of 100 degrees or more, then your child must be fever free for 24 hours, without medication, before returning to school.  If your child is vomiting or has diarrhea, then your child needs to be symptom free for 24 hours, without medication, before returning to school.  For example, if your child has a fever on Sunday, then they should stay home on Monday.  Thank you in advance for helping us keep everyone healthy.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

All My Best,
Wendy Craft

Your Support is appreciated

Through your generosity and support, The Foundation for Lovejoy Schools (FLS) awarded grants totaling $435,000 to Lovejoy teachers for use in their classrooms this year. The Foundation is funded primarily from the Annual Appeal Campaign and the Denim and Diamonds (D&D) Gala and Auction. The Foundation's goal is to cover D&D costs with sponsorships prior to the night of the event, allowing all dollars spent at the event to go directly to fund classroom grants.

The Foundation for Lovejoy Schools will host the 11th annual Denim and Diamonds Gala and Auction on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at a new location, the Marriott at Legacy Town Center in Plano. The theme is a Southern Soirée - Celebrating 100 Years of Lovejoy ISD. Denim and Diamonds Chair, Andrea Paranteau and Co-Chair, Carrie McClure welcome you to a night featuring dinner, entertainment, and live auctions.

The Foundation for Lovejoy Schools will host a raffle entitled "Fab Five", which includes:
