Interfaith Meeting on Religious Exemption Bill in Colorado

Dear ,

Your voice is needed as we begin the conversation about what can be done to educate about the impacts of "religious exemption" laws on the ballot this November in Colorado.

These laws would allow individuals and businesses to use their religious beliefs to deny service to LGBT Coloradans, but we know that not all religious people support laws like this.

Come learn how to get involved and the ways we can protect freedom for all Coloradans at this interfaith discussion including  representatives  from local religious groups of many different faiths.

With pride,

Mardi Moore [she/her/hers]
Executive Director

Out Youth Film Project Continues THIS SATURDAY (10/3)

The Out Youth Film Project is up and running! Don't worry if you missed last week, because for the first month, the project is open to anyone who might be interested.

In the first month we will be holding film screenings from the 1-3 PM Free Work period, so even if you'd just like to join us for these films and a discussion, you can! (Ages 13 and above)
Participants after 10/17 will need to be able to commit to attendance every Saturday from 11-1, however if this is a burden, we can find a solution to make sure everyone has the ability to participate. Free work time from 1-3 PM is always optional, but will become more necessary further on in the year.

The Film Project is a serious commitment, but this unique class is worth it. Once everyone's films are done, we will host a premiere event open to community members to share everyone's films! (location TBD)

For more information about the Film Project, go t www.outboulder.org/youthfilm
