Queensboro Dance Festival at The Secret Theater - Now through Sun 10/26, enjoy Queens' first festival dedicated to dance at the Secret Theatre with different Queens-based choreographers presenting each night.

Socrates Sculpture Park - The sculpture park's annual Halloween Harvest Fest will feature costume and art-making workshops, cooking demos, and a special site-specific performance by the Streb Extreme Action Kid Company, and much more, this Sat 10/25 from 11am-3pm.

Museum of the Moving Image - Check out the museum's 
See it Big! Horror movie screening series leading up to Halloween, special events all weekend long, and a 20th anniversary screening of "Cosmic Slop" as part of An Evening with George Clinton on Mon 10/27.

MoMA PS1 - The contemporary art museum hosts its Fall Open House and Art Party on Sun 10/26, celebrating the new exhibitions. On Halloween, be a part of the third annual HalloQueens, complete with DJ sets, costume competitions, dancing and pageantry, and ending with a Haunted Warehouse after-party. 

Dorsky Gallery - Join for a panel discussion on 10/26 and a curator/artists tour on 11/9 in conjunction with the gallery's current exhibition, Homeland [IN]Security: Vanishing Dreams.

Valerie Green/Dance Entropy - Experience captivating new works by this LIC-based modern dance company with performances at the Queens Theatre 11/1-11/2.

The Noguchi Museum - Visit the museum dedicated to the work of Isamu Noguchi for an upcoming Open Studio Family Program on Sun 11/2, and don't forget about Free First Fridays (next up Fri 11/7) when the exhibitions and guided tours are free and open to the public.

Chocolate Factory Theater - Check out avant-garde performances this fall, including Larissa Velez-Jackson's new dance-theater trio Star Crap Method, featuring live vocals, beginning 11/4.

SculptureCenter - Celebrate the recently expanded museum's past, present, and future at its Annual Benefit Gala on 11/4, and join for a conversation on Art and Architecture on 11/19.

The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), in partnership with LIC Partnership, will hold its next panel discussion,"Queens: The New Retail Frontier?" on October 29th to discuss tenant and investor activities in Queens retail. The panel will be held at 8:30am in Long Island City in the Queensboro room at 27-01 Queens Plaza North, and will be moderated by LIC Partnership President Elizabeth Lusskin.

Small Business Town Hall with Commissioner of Consumer Affairs Julie Menin

Queens Chamber of Commerce and NYC Department of Consumer Affairs will host a Small Business Town Hall on Mon 10/27 from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM. The event will be held at the Queens Chamber, Bulova Corporate Center, 75-20 Astoria Boulevard in Jackson Heights and is free to attend. RSVP here.
