Leaving a Legacy
My friend and colleague led the way in industry, in philanthropy, in passion and heart. His visionary proactiveness was an inspiration to us all, showing that if we believe it, and are tenacious, we can make good things happen. What a legacy to follow.

As the Litéra family begins 2016, we have found a peace and an energized focus for the future. Many of you have asked about Raina and Karen and the role they will play in the company going forward. They will continue to devote 100% of their time and energy to the company both on the Board of Directors and in their roles as Managing Director and VP of Business Development respectively. We want to extend a thank you to each of you for your kind words and support throughout this time and encourage you to continue to leave your memories and stories of your time with Deepak on our LinkedIn or Facebook pages. These sentiments have brought a smile and warmth to the family and all of us here at Litéra as we have read through them.

I wish for you all continued success, and for 2016 to be a focused and inspired year.

President, Litera Corp.
Dear Friends of Litera,

I continue to struggle to find the right words to express the devastation from the sudden passing of my father, Deepak Massand. He was not only my Dad but also my friend, confidant, advisor, business partner, fellow tea connoisseur and world travel adventure companion.

For those of you who knew him, I hope you always remember his amazingly energetic and enthusiastic spirit, his unwavering generosity and that lovely glimmer he had in his eye when you had a bright or innovative idea.

I feel broken and lost, now missing both my Dad and my Mom (who I lost in 1998) but I know that they would want me to follow the years of teaching to always strive to be better the next day than I was the day before and to constantly pray to be a stronger person rather than simply praying for life to get easier. It feels like a daunting task but I am up for the challenge, as only my dear loving father could prepare me to be.

Thank you all, for all of your prayers, emails, notes, texts and blessings. Deepak truly was a "people person" who valued and appreciated the moments that he shared with each individual he met. His innate curiosity and love for our family, friends, customers, employees and anyone who shared a smile with him is an integral part of his legacy, that I, and the entire team at Litera are committed and honored to continue, as we focus and work towards the mission and vision that he allowed each one of us to contribute to and believe in.

We are humbled by the outpouring of support and are so very fortunate to know you all.

Please do stay in touch, and never hesitate to reach out to me, as any friend of Deepak's is truly a friend of mine.

With love and light,
Raina Massand

Tech Tips:
3 Tips for Getting the Most Out of your Bookmarks:
1) Add a site to your bookmark bar and leave the name field blank.  It saves space on your bookmark bar and bolsters search efficiency.
2)  Bookmark a specific URL, not exclusively the site's main page.
3) Your bookmarks can be hidden. On Google Chrome, hide your bookmark bar by hitting CTRL + SHIFT + B.
3 Tips for Working with Windows Files and Folders:
1) Assign an icon to your files. Icons make it easy to recognize and interact with a file.
2) Customize the way Folders function and display on your PC with Folder Options in Control Panel.
3) With Windows Libraries, you can access files and folders and arrange them however you want.
LSFT to the Rescue!
When you need an additional layer of security for a file sent to a client or collaborator, using Litéra Secure File Transfer and adding an expiration date will ensure that the file will not rest in transit for an extended period of time.
