NH Wood Energy Council Recognizes LRH
Modern Wood Heating Installation

L to R - Dick Blanchard, Boiler Plant Director
David Van Houten, NH Wood Energy Council
Henri Wante, Director of Facilities Management
The NH Wood Energy Council recently recognized Littleton Regional Healthcare (LRH) for their installation of an advanced wood pellet boiler at their facility in Littleton, NH.

DHI of Colebrook, NH and Messersmith Mfg., Inc. of Bark River, MI installed the boiler(s) to switch from heating oil (or other fossil fuel) to locally sourced wood fuels, thereby reducing heating costs and using a renewable, low carbon fuel alternative.

As boilers tend to be hidden away from public view, the handsome locally made wood plaque will help visitors to the facility to understand the commitment that LRH has made to modern wood heating technology and sustainable energy.

The NH Wood Energy Council is a public-private education and technical assistance initiative to promote advanced wood heating, and supported by the USDA Forest Service. It is coordinated by North Country Resource Conservation & Development Council. Visit NHWEC at   nhwoodenergycouncil.org.

Grateful Patient Program

At Littleton Regional Healthcare our patients often express their gratitude for the outstanding care they receive in a variety of ways - through their kind words, smiles, letters of thanks and financial contributions.

Many patients and their families have contributed financially to benefit Littleton Regional Healthcare - to show their appreciation in a way that will help others receive outstanding care. The Grateful Patient Program provides an opportunity to recognize the care you or a loved one received as a patient at LRH. You may honor staff, a nurse, a physician, an area of care, or a clinical program while making a tangible, meaningful impact on our ability to care for patients.
