Greetings LKA Family!

The first half of the school year is coming to an end for our amazing students, but for our LKA parents, it's only the beginning! On Friday, December 15, LKA will be hosting Parent School from 2-4pm. During this time, teachers and dyslexia specialists will share learning objectives, model sample lessons, and practice skills for parents to teach at home. Parents will also be able to select from several sessions in academic language therapy, multi-sensory math, and language composition. Our goal is to deepen parental understanding of dyslexia and expand parental knowledge of evidence based instruction in the field of dyslexia education. We can't wait to share these fundamentals with our LKA community!

LKA will also be conducting a community service project on Martin Luther King Jr. Day of this coming year. We'll be working with our community to create an LKA courtyard and outdoor classroom for our students to enjoy. We hope to see you there and appreciate your support!

See you soon!
