Five Sites in South Dakota Certified and Ready for Development
Five potential sites in South Dakota have just undergone the re-certification process under South Dakota's Certified Ready Sites program, and are ready for development.

"When a company chooses one of South Dakota's Certified Ready Sites, they are choosing a site that is ready for development," said GOED Commissioner Scott Stern. "We have done much of the legwork in choosing a site and have verified each certified site's availability, infrastructure and environmental studies."

The newest Certified Ready Sites can be found in the communities of Aberdeen, Arlington, Colman, Madison and North Sioux City.

"Each site offers a variety of configurations to meet the ever-changing, ever-diverse needs of businesses. Sites range in price from $15,000-$50,000 per acre," said Stern. "We are very excited to be able to offer these sites to our prospects that are thinking about a new or expanded location in South Dakota."

Stern added that several additional sites are currently under review, and will likely be re-certified in coming months.
