Lake Ontario Offshore Racers!
The 2017 Boat Show is done and February is already upon us. Time to look ahead and start planning for all those things you need to do prior to launch which, for many of us, will occur in April. Wow, that's just the month after next!

Registration is open for all 2017 LOOR events so check it out now and take advantage of the early bird discount which ends at the end of day on March 15th. I can also tell you that all Notices of Race (NORs) are available through the loor.ca website or, through the links below.

The 2017 racing season is looking very exciting especially due to the continued support of all our sponsors. Thank you to all of them. Also, please join me in welcoming the Humberview Group (DriveHG.ca) as they return for a second year as our title sponsor for the LO300 and the Susan Hood Trophy Race.

New for 2017, we now have a video providing an overview of the upcoming LOOR offshore racing season. Check it out at: loor.ca

Whether you are sailing across to Rochester, to the Caribbean or in the Lake Ontario 300, it may be necessary at a moment's notice for you to use your safety equipment and, possibly, save someone's life. Don't miss this opportunity to improve your safety skills.

If you are a sailor and interested in participating in one of the Lake Ontario Offshore Races, or a skipper who needs crew, use the Crew/Boats Boards on the Yacht Scoring Registration and Official Document page. This resource was in high demand during the 2016 season and crew was snapped up very early. There are already a few eager racers listed as available crew for the 2017 season. Check it out and ensure you don't miss the opportunity to participate in a LOOR event this year.

You'll find the link on the Registration page, right side of the page, called 'Crew/Boat Boards', or go to the Crew Bank page on the LOOR site.
