Volunteer Opportunities

As always, we welcome our members and visitors to lend their time, treasure and talent. There are a number of opportunities at the center. 
At present we need several people to help schedule and be time keepers at our upcoming metaphysical fair.

Greetings Dear Spiritual Family!

We welcome the Fall gratefully this month with a shift in temperature - and a shift in focus.  We turn our attention to the truth:  Love is All there IS!  

We have a lot of exciting classes and events happening this month and ask that you turn to our website for the full story of each and every one of them: EVENTS PAGE

But first, I would like to address current events:

We know that thoughts are things - and emotions can fuel our thoughts

With the devastation of Harvey in our consciousness right now, let's pull back and consider the spiritual/metaphysical significance of what may be going on:

Water: the energy of water is about emotions. There is a LOT of emotion - turbulent and highly charged emotion - swirling around this country right now.  

The type of devastation that is out-picturing right now on the physical plane is directly correlated to the energy of the powerful emotions fueling our thoughtforms on the inner planes! We are the MIND of the planet, but without our thoughts being fueled by unconditional LOVE, the thoughts we create are tainted with lower energy emotions.

Something to ponder as we look at our personal lives as well. Are you truly listening to others with your heart - or are you listening through the filter of your wounds? If you project your own "wound-ology" onto what others are saying to you - or about you - then you are doing a disservice to all concerned. Not just to one another - but to anyone whose lives you touch - because you are carrying that thought form, fueled by roiling emotions - and affecting every living thing (people, animals, the earth).

Something to ponder - and a topic that will include some spiritual tools to use as part of my Sunday lessons this month.

BOOKSTORE:
We are excited to be opening our Book Store this month as well!  We will be having a "soft opening" the Sunday after our Metaphysical Fair, (September 10), so be sure and stop in and see what's available thus far. 

FYI - we have many gently used books that have been donated for purchase on a love offering basis in the front room of The Light House - there is a love offering basket set up for your donations. All funds collected will be going towards purchasing new books and other items for the book store. Thank you so much for supporting this exciting effort!

I want to thank our awesome Bookstore Committee: Cheryl Moore, Amanda Moberley, Tiffany Kohlstrom and Cindy DeHann. We will have several talented members of our spiritual family offering their products for sale, so be sure and stop by on Sundays to avail yourselves of some pretty awesome products.

Join over ten intuitive readers and healers for our first official metaphysical fair! Tarot, reiki, massage, astrology, and mediumship are among the talent you will find! Part of the proceeds go to renovations of the Light House.
