Mattel has released an impressive photo set of an early prototype of their forthcoming 1/18 scale LaFerrari by Hot Wheels Elite. It's stunning, especially for a model in its price range ($129.99). 

 

Three colors are planned (red, black & yellow). We hope to see the red version by summer. The LaFerrari will also be modeled in 1/43 scale. 

 

 

      

 

Good news for those of you who have been patiently waiting for a restock of two of our most popular documentaries: Grand Prix: The Killer Years and Deadliest Crash. Please reserve your 2014 Formula One models as soon as possible. As we said in Monday's Email Update, the model manufacturers require that dealers submit their quantities this week. We try to order enough of everything, but in previous years models of the World Champion and obscure drivers or teams have been 'sold out' before they appear. I know it's very early in the season, but this is the situation we're faced with every year. Don't worry, we won't charge you until the models are inbound. The fact is, we can not guarantee you'll be able to purchase the models you want unless you let us know now. It's crazy, I know.
